Job Vacancy – Bridge Project Support Officer (Administration role)
VoiCeS Northumberland the lead Operational partner in the Bridge Partnership has vacancies to support the delivery of the Bridge Project which is part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme funded by the European Social Fund and National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund until September 2019. The Bridge Project aims to help those who experience multiple barriers to work in finding a job or be in a better place to look for work. Bridge is a partnership between Northumberland County Council (NCC) and a number of voluntary organisations in Northumberland.
The Bridge Project focuses on key groups who typically find they have multiple problems to overcome in finding suitable employment. We tackle the barriers that prevent people from accessing support with more opportunities for education and training, improved health and wellbeing services, better financial help and programmes to build people’s confidence. Support is provided to help people build self-confidence and develop or acquire new skills in key areas where they might be experiencing difficulties.

The following opportunities are now available:
Support Officer – based in Amble, Northumberland, £18,672 pro rata (fixed point salary) – 21 hrs (over 3 days – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), Fixed term until September 2019
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Support Officer to provide full administrative support, including evidencing activity and spend against our funders requirements. Applicants must have skills and experience within an administrative role and have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. We require someone with good attention to detail, the ability to prioritise work and to work to timescales.
