Vacancy – Supported Volunteering – Project Worker
Northumberland CVA is a partner in the Bridge Project which is part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme, funded by the European Social Fund and National Lottery, through the Big Lottery. The Bridge Project aims to help those who experience multiple barriers to work in finding a job or be in a better place to look for work. Bridge is a partnership between Northumberland County Council (NCC) and a number of voluntary organisations in Northumberland.
The Supported Volunteering Project and Bridge Connectors forms part of The Bridge Project.
They are seeking a Project Worker, to provide support to the Project Co-ordinators. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working, be multi skilled, have excellent organisational and IT skills, experience of working with people with multiple barriers and volunteers and be able to work under pressure. The post-holder should be flexible in their approach and be prepared to travel throughout Northumberland. The post is subject to a full DBS check.

Hours: 30 hours week. Fixed term contract funded through ESIF Building Better Opportunities Fund until September 2019
